So I have 2 separate phone systems installed at an office for 2 companies that share the building. I was asked if I can link the 2 systems together so that you can press a flex key on a phone from either system and it will ring the other. Hope this makes sense.

My thinking is to cross connect between a CO from one system to an EXT port on the other, then program a "speed dial" button on the PT.

Please let me know any insight into this situation if you have it.

Sure, the poor man's FXO FXS. YOu can even get fancy and tie TWO stations apiece to the other system and do a little hunt group :-)
