Happy Hockey Day in Canada!

We have a customer that has reported their Message Waiting Lights not coming on. This is a KXTA624 & TVA50.

Any preliminary ideas on what could be happening?

Thanks smile

Customer most likely disabled message waiting status while in their mailbox. Log into particular mailbox and determine if they accidently turned message waiting off.

It's called the law of NANG, "No Asky, No Getty".

Well, I had a chance to go to the customer's site & check this problem out.

MWI was not disabled in the mailboxes or the in the Vmail general parameters. The KSU & Vmail are both setup for APT integration - and I reset those parameters on both sides just to see if it would help, but no dice.

I also tested the MWI light by turning it on & off with the access code: 701XXX# and 702XXX# (which worked just fine)

Any other ideas? Supposedly MWI was working at some point in the past, but I'm not sure what changed that caused it to quit working. I suppose we could do a factory default and start over...

If all else fails, delete, then rebuild the box.

FYI, a factory default on the voicemail did the trick.
