You could kick the gain up a notch or 2 on the trunk card and dlc card that tva is connected to I had issues with voip lines and increasing gain solved it....

10/25/2011. Went back to site to check loop current. Loop current was 40ma on all lines. Installed one of Mike Sandman's loop current regulators, brought down to about 28ma, but still no change of symptoms. While monitoring with my speakerphone on my buttset, local calls appear to process fine, but long distance calls inbound have their digits distorted and cut. We may try to replace the CO card late this afternoon, but don't expect that to resolve this either. I will look at the patches you mentioned.
........Thanks...Bruce Lindsay

They have had two providers. Verizon is the local telco, and the customer claimed that they had these problems while they were on Verizon. About 9 months ago they switched to a local Cable tv company that is now selling voice. We have had pretty decent luck with them, but they in turn use Sprint. While they have an analog phone adaptor there, I suspect that technically it is probably a VOIP connection.. I am supposed to speak to one of Panasonic's tech support managers, some time today. We have not adjusted any of the pad settings on the trunks yet, but am down to that and replacing the CO board..Again...local calls seem to pass digits fine..so I have really scratched my head on this one.

I think you're going to find it's the same mystery we have.... it just fails.
I've been fighting this for about 8 months. We call them, they say "MBSWWYPBX" and we ask them how the closed end misses hearing calls from the open end only part time.
I'm ready to put up a calendar with boxes to check off the day we can dump Time Worthless(tm).

Do you have a digit grabber hook it up between the ATA and the TDE if DTMF shows on the display kick up the gain on the trunk card before swapping it out with known good one.
