This is my first time working with Telrad. I can't figure out why the message waiting lamp won't light when there's a message for that extention. After checking the the programming manual for the Synopsis Mail, the message waiting lamp is enabled on the Synopsi mail system but it still won't light up. The auto attendant goes straight to voice mail when a caller dials the operators extention. This happens because when the auto attendant button on extention 20 is activated, the DND feature on that extention is activated also. Can anyone out there help.
Oh thanx for your help SSphone.

I had a synopsis with this same problem. It had many others as well. I was unable to resolve it until I removed the synopsis system. Sorry, I know that doesn't help much, but I do feel your pain.

I don't having anymore synopsis out there so I just taking some guesses. If the light doesn't work at all. Try ckecking the Message feature code in function access codes. (your going to need the synopsis PCP) I think it should be feature 63 but check what it is in default. Also I think you have to se-up a MSG light line port in the voicemail. Look in the voicemail book for that but I not sure. For the a operator just make it an MDN group with 20 as the only EXT it the group.
But as emmitt2727 said it has alot of problems.
