We have several divisions in our company that run off our phone system including thee out buildings that run voip. Our OBG had to cal 911. The caller ID that showed at 911 as 913-3800 which is the number for our Imaging center, the main number for our OBG division is 517-913-3910 I Checked the caller ID from our phone system, all caller ID that are set up in our system are correct. I called external numbers with the phone in question, caller ID is correct for the division. I called 911 the caller ID information that shows was 1540 Lake Lansing rd 913-3800. This information is not coming from our phone system but from our trunk. How do I put specific division numbers show at 911. The system is a Tetrad Digital 1000

We are using digital trunks, PRI. Our phone carrier is AT&T. AT&T is proposing a product called 911 locator lite, whis is costly. I was wondering if there was a less costly way to achieve this objective.

AT&T for some reason just will not get with the program and allow systems it send the CID. Some of the CLEC's are using CNAM database for CID and that is a PIA also. I have a customer with a AT&T T1 that send no number only PRIVATE and after reporting this many times they state there is nothing they can do about it.
My statement to the customer, you can do something about it, shop for a new carrier.
