Hey guys, I got the connegy dialer installed on my workstation, but I can not make any external calls using it. What do I need to do to get an outside line? I tried dialing 95555551212 like I normally do but it has a telrad recording say the number you are dialing can not be reached. If i just dial a 9 with it, I can dial out the rest of the digits on my phone and it works great, I just can't dial it all in one sitting.

If you profile in the dialer is correct. Check the dialing properties, similar to using a modem.

I tried 9,5555551212 but it strips everything but the 9 out of the number, tried a P, but it does the same. I just can't get it to make an external call. I keep getting the lady saying "The number you are dialing has not been recognized." Then fast busy.

Can you place calls from the TVSE-> Web interface? Log in using station number and ecc code and set up a speed dial and try placing a call.

OK, Yes, I logged in, created a speed dial, and then clicked dial(next to it). The call was placed externally and the external phone rang. Then I went to the dialer, pressed "get speed dial numbers". My new speed dial entry was loaded into the dialer with the name I had given it. I pressed that speed dial button, but the result was still the women telling me the number has not been recognized. I then took the 9 out of the speed dial number, and it works! So the 9 is needed in the web interface, but the 9 is not needed to place it through the dialer.

Thanks for your help in talking through this!

Check station features> station attributes> application external route. Is it set for LCR. This is the reason you dont need the 9
