We added a new phone line to our DK 16e about a year ago. When the tech installed the new line he programmed certain stations with access to the new line. We need to add access to this line to a new station. I saw the tech program this directly at a phone station (ext), so I know it is not a difficult procedure.

1) Does anyone know how I can add access to this line to a new station?

2) Is there a procedure to remove access to a line from a station?

3) Can I add access without having the line ring directly at the station? Remove ringing from previously programmed stations?

This would be a very big help.

there is no substitute for a trained tech.
however, if you havs an 20 but lcd you can give it a try. go to prog 40 and give the station access. then program a button for the line(prog 39). ringing is in prog 81-89

You must use logical station 005, and a 20 button display phone. say your phone ext's are numbered 200 to whatever then usually that would be ext 205. to get into program mode it's *#*#1*2*3* be careful, toshiba is a real tricky system. if you need more info reply with details on what you need and I'll pull the books out.

You don't have to enter programming on a dk16 from station port 005 that's a dk280,424 thing. Any 20 button display phone will work. Did your vendor leave programming sheets next to your phone system??? Check and let us know.
