What are you trying to program?
System features, mailboxes?

I want to set mailboxes back to default. Be able to default lost or forgotten passwords. All the Admin stuff

Can you get into admin programming on the Flash?
Do you have the cable and software to program with?

you might try using the admin box see if the owner changed the password. if the system is
working go to main greeting and dial *999(admin box) and see if you can get past the password it could be 999997 997999 or who knows what.

To reset and program users you need a software program and a null modem cable attached to com 2 of the flash. You can add or delete mailboxes from 999 if the flash is ver 3 or later. I can send you the software if you need it email me.

what is the reset supposed to accomplish in the admin box? i thought it,s function is:
take existing box,s. and set their box configuration to that of the default box(997)
it probably doesn,t erase the user recorded prompts though does that make sense? was this option added a later?

If Flash is not ver 3 you cant reset password or mailbox you can only delete and add. That does erace greeting ( sets back to greeting 1 has not been recorded) and name in DBN sets box back to default password. Also notify and auto sch table are set back to default. If 990 or 991 defaulted will changed the done chain.
