I am trying to program a flash into a speed dial number on a CTX 100. I need to do this so that I can put a one touch button on the main reception set in order for her to answer a call then flash the set and have it call a speed dial ie. 600.
I can program the one touch speed dial but cannot seem to get the flash code to go into the speed dial number. I have programmed a flash key on the set and then have tried the following for speed dial. #66 600 flash key then the number, the # to save. It will not allow me to put this flash key into the speed dial number.
Anybody got any ideas as to what I am doing wrong.
thanks in advance

How about programming a one-touch button to perform that for you instead of putting that sequence in a speed dial bin 600? Just program a button as a one-touch button and use Winadmin to program a flash, pause, and the phone number. Or go into user programming (#9876) press the button, press flash, *2, phone number, then press the button again to store it.

I tried to use winadmin to put a one touch button on but I don't remember if it wouldn't allow me to put the F in the one touch sequence or if it was the speed dial it would not allow the F to be typed in for flash but i will certainly try the other suggestion you gave me.

thank you for the quick response.

If you use Winadmin, assign the key as a one-touch, then double click on it and Winadmin will pop up another screen that will allow you to program a flash into the button.
