I have a customer that has a phone go to voice mail after 8 seconds when she is using the phone hands free. Set is a DKT2020sd voicemail is a Stratagy Dk with VDK 2Na/1.03 software and the KSU 424. The extension is 200 and the port is 000. Have any of you come across this?

Sounds like her phone is set for call forwarded/no answer to VM. Clear that and try it. But you need to put it back on for her calls to go to voice mail.

I have cleared forward to vm no answer and it still happens. This happens only when someone calls her extension 200 as 2001 to talk. Then 8 seconds the call goes to vm.

Why are you dialing a 1 after the ext number 200. Would this cause the ext to change from handsfree to ringing and possibly end up going to voice mail. JBW

When you dial an extension number followed by 1 the extension goes off hook hands free. This extension does this for 8 sec. then goes to voice mail if the handset is picked up it does not go to voicemail.

Turn on led 16 in program 35 for port 000.
