I'm really hoping someone can help me, or steer me towards help. We have a dk280 system, release 1 or 2 ( I,m not sure ), using ekt's and a rctub1 with a rrcs4. we purchased an Amanda SOHO 4 port and i'm running into trouble getting into amanda. My dk280 manual does state in one part that vm will work with an rctub1, but in all other areas refers to rstu. by running pr 00, I can tell that we do not have release 3.1, and a great deal of my manual refers to programs run with r. 3.1, so could that be an issue? The outfit I purchased Amanda from is supposed to be reputable, but since they received their money, I'm not getting the support promised. One thing they did talk to me about ( before the sale ) was that the software that toshiba vm's runs on is based on software tosh. purshased from Amanda, so it was supposed to be a perfect pairing. If this is the case, then in pr 10-3 do I tell it that my vm is toshiba proprietary ( led 14 off ) or would Amanda be a Bellcore '85 or '91 version, and what smdi digit length? Or is this a question for the vm forum? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Please don't take offense to this, but it sounds like this may be way over your head. Even though the Amanda will work fine with your DK, you'll need professional help getting this to work.
