I am trying to login to a Stratagy Flash VM. I am using a USB to serial adaptor. Couple of questions:
1. Can I use a standard 9 pin Serial cable?
2. If I can use a standard Serial cable what are the Com Port settings? 8 none and 1? 7 something and something?
I swear I am about to throw this stupid thing ggrrrr.

I have had problems using USB/Serial adaptors. You will be better off with a PCMCIA serial card. You have to use the Stratagy Admin software with a null modem cable. By default, the baud rate is 9600. The other settings are set by Admin. ------------------ Toshiba Technical Support at: fingerlakestelecom.net

Some of them work well and some don't..just remember that you have to have either Com 1 or 2 for the Stratagy Admin.
