Right now I am managing 4 sites with Strata DK424's. Each site has a PIOUS2 PCB and I have modems that I can plug into these. Other that Pluging the modems into the SMDR port and moving SW3 to Modem. I'm not sure what to do. Do I need to use HyperTerminal? What kind of string do I need to use to dial? Any help in the right direction woulb be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You would need the DKAdmin software along with the parallel port key.

you could also use imdu's on thos pious2's.

Yes, you can use Hyperterminal but you'll need to know the commands.

if you can get that key, then use imdu's on those pious cause the set up is much easier and you can transfer out of voicemail to it or have a line ring just to the imdu.

I,m a Norstar Tech. I have a customer with a DK40i
system with a an expansion unit. I installed a stratagy IVP8 4 port 4 hours in slot 17. I had a
Toshiba tech. to program this card,but on incoming
calls the auto-attendant answer. When I try to access the voicemail system using station 200 a DKT2020SD telephone I cannot access the voicemail system.The Toshiba tech. said the access code is ***. He programmed the voicemail on ports 31 and 32. Is this problem a configuration problem are not?

If it's a 4-port IVP8, why did he program only ports 31 and 32 as vm ports? If it's not working right, why not call him back?
