Oscar, do you really think that people come here looking for answers like that? The original poster probably already knows that they have a system that is living on borrowed time.

They need an answer, or possible temporary solution, not a remark. We are here to offer ideas to resolve a problem.

Welcome aboard to the forum, but please remember that support is our #1 responsibility. welcome

Steve,

I am doing this through the Strata software. I got the flowchart by the way thanks. I reviewed it and have tried the suggestion that the other posters have given.
Still when I dial my extension, I get a prompt to leave my name and company, my extension rings, I pick up the handset and instantly get connected to the caller (in this case, I called from my cell).
I have looked in to my Strata settings, looked into the DK280 manual and nothing seems to work.

Thanks for all the suggestions..

I wonder if the screen feature has been turned off in the Stratagy Configuration?

Look at the Stratagy Telephone System Dial Codes and you will see "What to dial AFTER dialing the user ID extension". If the DK is set for tone first, the entry should be blank. If set for voice calling, it should be 1-. If you make a change to the setting, restart the Stratagy.

Phonemeister,

Kudos to you and thanks to everyone who have helped me with my problem. I went to the dial codes that phonemeister has suggested and indeed there was an 'H' there. I blanked out the field and it worked like a charm.

Again, thanks everyone.
