Thank you for helping first time to everybody! Now I have second problem. I want to fix it by myself because I don't want to be depend on our vendor anymore. By the way, that was their fault. Yesterday, when I was there I found out that our phone station (DK40i) wasn't connect to back up battery, just direct to wall outlet. THEY DID IT LAST TIME WHEN THEY WERE FIXING OUR STATION. Anyway our phone station was without power couple hours. I assume all settings were gone. I have programmed most of them but I can't figure out how connect to VM (PerfectVioce probably Flash8 /4 ports & 2 RS232/). When I'm trying to call VM ext (18,19,20,21) I get general message. I tried to use 7, 999 and some different codes to get access to individual mail boxes but I can't. It does nothing, just repeat general message. I guess all that I need right direction how to connect phones to VM and first couple steps. If anybody can help me with that I will really appropreate it. I don't want to call repair company. P.S> Sorry for my english, I have been living here only 1 year (I'm from Russia).

First I would make sure that the battery strap is in the on position, second what code do you have programed in program 03 for slot 00 , should be either 92 or 98 . If you dial the first port of voicemail when the main greeting answers either 7 or 999 shoild take you to enter your user ID.

Thanks for answer,
I'm sorry I didn't run program 03. What is suppose to be by default? When I'm calling VM (any extension) it gives me general message (we recordered it /"You calling to Company if you know your ext ..../") and if I tried to use ext or anything else (7,900) it just doesn't do anything but repeat that message. May be I did something wrong?

I'm sorry. What do you mean "Battery strap"? Is it DC power switch? It's ON.

If you take the cover off of the system there are three pins near the battery on the main board, it should be labeled BATT , make sure it is in the on posistion

Thanks a lot. :thumb: I will check it. Is it doesn't matter which VM system for that? What's about program 03? Does it really may be reason for my problem? Which programs do I need to use to set VM up? I mean step by step? Sorry for stupid questions, but I want to learn it.

Sorry, don't have my manuals at hand, but my money is on the program 31 settings.
Basically, to oversimplify in layman's terms, the program 03 slot 00 settings say whether or not you have a card in the box to interpret DTMF tones - if set wrong you might be able to leave messages but the system would not "hear" the tones that the VM sends back to light the message light.
Among the Program 31 settings mentioned are the options to send DTMF tones to the VM ports. Without them set the VM will not "hear" the tones it needs to handle calls.
Another thought - You may need to re-enter the VMID codes at each phone (#656 and #657).

program 31 should solve your problem with the VM not responding,as far as giving you step by step info, I would suggest you call a local Tech to assist you with this, and have them help you understand the programing a little better
