Anyone know why an intercom call between two sites using IPQsig would drop after about 4 minutes? A regular transfered call over IPQsig works fine with no issues. I thought it may be software version but I am not sure which version is at the sites. I will find out today. If anyone has had this issue, I would like to know what the fix is that you used to rectify. The two systems are both CIX670's on each end.

Thanks,
TTT

Are internal calls within a site affected? Or just IP calls?

Just a thought... did they pick up the intercom call by pressing the speaker button or handset?

Internal calls within each site are not affected. If it were internal to each site, it wouldn't be an IP issue more than likely.

Meisgq: I will have to check on that question. Would you think there is a timer for using the speaker than the handset?

Meisgq: I just found out that it happens on both speaker and handset or if they press the intercom button and it goes to the speaker.

I'll have to look at all timers. Are there any timers in particular to look for?

I think there is a preset intercom time set by toshiba, We had a school using the pbx as their intercom same thing it would cut off the page about 3-4 min in into the morning announcement. Toshiba tech support said there is no way around it, The system is not designed to do that

Fresh,

Were they using IPQSIG at the locations?

If there is an intercom time preset and you cannot change it, I would consider that a flaw honestly.
