You are looking for 2 areas. Both are in station programming.

The first thing you are looking for is button programming for the station. You need to program a button. If you want to grab a particular line, like line 3, create a button for line 3 access. Or more than likely you want to program a POOL key.

Then you need to go to OFFHOOK PREFERENCE XXY. If you programmed button 01 then you put in 01+1. The plus one turns that button on when you pick up the handset from an idle state.

It should be Flash 50, page B, i don't remember the particular buttons.

Tip and ring, the work of the devil!
