OK, One more question;
With the STSe, is there a limit to the number of fax lines/fax machines that can be connected?
Yes I know you have to have enough available CO and SLT ports, I'm asking about the Fax Detect function only.
Thanks.

Thanks.</font> There is only one field to enter a 'fax' extension in the voicemail (I assume you are using the flash-based?). You could put several fax machines in a hunt group though.

Thanks for the reply, but no, I'm not asking about the fax detect via VM. I'm asking about the new built in fax-detect in the STSe BKSU so I know if I can stop using fax switches.

Well it looks like I found my answer in the new ProgOps manual.
It shows that you can enable FaxDetect on any CO line(s) under F40, but it only shows one destination under F09. I was hoping to be able to define multiple destinations and set several CO lines to ring to several Fax machines.
Hmmm, well maybe with the Flash eProm programming they can do a software change later.

Why can't you just set up a hunt group? Or foward the port, on busy, to the next fax port?

"Why can't you just set up a hunt group?"
That wouldn't accomplish the goal.
In this situation I need 4 specific CO lines to go to 4 specific fax machines [CO1 can ONLY go to Fax1, CO3 can ONLY go to Fax3, etc]
It isn't a matter of allowing 4 fax machines to pick up whatever fax calls come in.
Each fax is in one office with a specific phone number; the offices don't interact so they can't be getting each others' faxes as would be the case with a common hunt group.
If the 'e' cabinet would allow CO1 to be directed to Fax1 *only* and CO2 to Fax2 *only* that would be great, but it doesn't appear to work that way.
