The STS model number is 3500-00 and the STSe is 3501-00. Not sure about the XTS.

XTS and XTS-c are much bigger cabinets and made of metal. The STS is a smaller plastic cabinet

The newer XTS cabinets are black in color with blue trim details. Older ones are white (light gray) with blue trim details.

Regardless, the STS is a very small cabinet with two 25-pair connectors on the right side. The XTS is a card shelf where the 25 pair cables are connected directly to the cards. Also, the XTS is designed to be rack-mountable; the STS is certainly not large enough to be the same.

The STS KSU part number is 3500-00 or 3501-00. I think that the XTS KSU part number is 3000-00, but I am at home right now so I can't say for sure. The first two digits pretty much determine the system family, so I am confident that I am close.

I guess what I am saying is that if the KSU model number begins with 35, then it's an STS; if it begins with 30, then it's an XTS.

XTS part number 3000, XTSc 3001. But be careful when it comes to documentation - its a zoo - so many different updates

The 3031-04 only works on the 3031-03 card (LCOBC) according to their most recent equipment schedule. I can't say for sure, but my answer is no.

LCOB8 (3031-02) does not support the CID module. You need the LCOBC (3031-03).
