Just installed my first new STSe w/ 8 port inskin vmail. 3 co lines 12 stations. Have day and nite message. Day message comes on fine. Problem - Nite message not coming on - getting after hours message that says 'station 104 leave a message'. Only two phones ring all lines - stations 100 and 104. All executive sets on system. Suggestions as to what is wrong on nite message? Thanks

Have you set your open/close schedule? The reason I ask is that I was having the same problem until I set up the schedule and now everything works fine.

What TL1 said. You have to set day/night schedule and have to record both recordings. All pushing the night button does is send calls to where every you've programmed them to go in night mode.

Well, you also have another problem. Although you have two extensions ringing, 100 doesn't count since it's the attendant station. That being said, the station forwarding for ext. 104 is governing the destination of the call, which is it's mailbox.
You will need to either set up A) day and night riniging in the KSU to go to 440 at night only or B) go to page B of CO line programming and set up preset forward to 440 there.
Make sure to go over to page C and ensure that the preset forward timer is LESS than the station preset forward timer on page C of station programming.
