I'm a newbie with this phone system. The person who administered the system left without training anyone on it. I have a lot of questions. The part number of my phone is: 1414-71 and it's an executive key telephone. Can anyone please help me?

Chances are, you have the SPD1428 or SPD2856 system. Both use the same manual and user's guides. Your best bet is to click on the manuals button at the top of this page and get yourself one. The manual is very straight-forward and will be a good investment if you are going to be maintaining the system on a regular basis.

Thanks,

We have various manuals. I just have some questions.

Does the Admin software on the pc need rebooted for the changes to be effective?

There isn't any admin software for that system. It's only used for the Talkpath or Dispatch voice mail system. Do you have one of these connected to your phone system?

Yes, we have the "Starplus Dispatch". Is there an administrator phone as part of this system?

All programming is done for the phone system via a 1414-71 phone connected to extension 100. I have sent you a PM with a local Vodavi dealer in your area. I am sure that they can get you squared away quickly.
