Just a couple notes
1) Problem:
Fax detection does not work when ringing for the fax trunk is programmed via a hunt group
2) Problem: PCAdmin 2.5AE is throwing an error when scrolling in station attributes III
3) Call Log does not show the Caller ID name.
4) System speed dial "dial by name" does not allow you to drill down any further than the first letter. The dial by name should allow you to enter the first three letters of the system speed dial to be dialed.
For example: The current method of finding "Larry Smith" would be "down arrow3>53>down arrow till you can see that entry>OK
The suggested update would allow this to be found by "down arrow 3>527>OK
5) Speed dials wait too long to start dialing: Resolution is to set the pause timer to 1 second.

There's an occasional problem with version 2.5 ae that causes all the station flex keys to start flashing. I just had it on a system I upgraded. There's a fix on the Vertical ftp site. version 2.5AJ.
I also found out there's a missing note in the upgrading process. When you upgrade the system you're supposed to go into program 452, and press Flex key 2, which will make the db compatible to version 2.5. I've never done this before but tech support said to do this if you have a system that's doing flaky things.
Make sure to back up the db first!
I was told to do the following:
backup the system
upgrade the system
default the system
load backup onto system
program *#
program 452
flex 2
press hold/save

meh, all new systems have their bugs that need to be worked out. IMHO it is still a decent system for the price point and serves the customer well if it is not over sold.

Those of you who are not selling the SBX system are missing out on opportunities. I've had so few problems with this system it is now my 1st choice for a reliable inexpensive system. The biggest issue is getting used to the programming.
