Hi; I've got a Starplus DHS connected with Dispatch VM thru a 2-port SLT adaptor. It has a 3X8 expansion module, an option module, and a 2-port SLT expansion.
The VM button used to blink when a VM box had new voicemails, but ever since I took over programming the system (I'm not a trained technician), it doesn't blink any more. The button is set to F64 in Feature programming.
Thanks for any clues you can give in advance.

Make sure that you have system dial tone on both station ports going into the Dispatch unit. The second port dials the message light on/off commands, so if it doesn't have dial tone, it can't make the notification.
To make sure that the Dispatch is sending this command, leave a test message at any extension. During this time, watch the LEDs on the Dispatch. While you are leaving the message, the first LED should be flashing and go steady when you hang up.
A few seconds later, you should see the second LED start flashing for about five seconds, then go back to steady.
If this is happening, then your problem is something in the two pairs between the KSU and the SLT adapter, or the two pairs between the adapter and the Dispatch.
