Would need about 6 handsets that would hang off of a Partner ACS.
Must be durable, good range, and most of all waterproof.

We normally use EnGenius, but they are not waterproof.

Thanks,

I saw those, but I wonder how they would behave with each other with using 6 of them together in a small environment?

that's a valid concern I would try to run it by their customer service people.

you could also see if you could find a distributor that would work with you and take them back

We are also looking at SpectraLink.
The customer said they had a pretty hefty budget for the project.

I can't speak to their 900's, but I have 6 or 8 Uniden EXI8560's running in the same room, the bases are in pairs about a foot apart, and the pairs of bases are about 8 to 10 feet apart... and they seem to work ok.

So if Uniden has a waterproof 5.8, it might be a good bet.

It looks as if the customer really likes the Spectralink.

Is there anything better than Spectralink?
Just curious?

Uniden does in fact have a ruggedized 5.8, but that catalog's at work right now; if they have the budget for Spectras, though, they're probably a much better bet.
