Ugg, if it's not one thing its another with this Rolm system. I thought this was to be true, but can anyone verify this?
I know on Avaya and Mitel systems, if I take a DID that comes in and forward it to an analog hunt group with x number of analog lines connected to a fax server, the DTMF would come across the analog line so the fax server could understand where it was coming from. The fax server would see the DID DTMF coming through and be able to route. Or GFI fax server will accept the call, take the fax, but never route it because the DID or DTMF did not through.
is there something in the ROLM system that would prevent this? or a setting that needs to be changed?
My guess is that since this system only uses CO trunks, instead of a PRI, the DID information is not coming through at all.
