I bought a used 680 system off eBay. It's worked well for my small business needs. For the price I paid (about $250 with 5 BT2 phones), I don't think I could have found a more capable system for my office and my meager budget.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the system. But there are some things that I don't know how to set up. Maybe someone here can give me some tips.

Last week, I moved from a smaller office to a new one. At my old office, I had 3 POTS lines in a hunt group. The main number also had callerID on the line. With CallerID, I was able to see caller information for calls that came in on the main number, regardless of which extension it was directed to.

For some reason, at my new office, with the exact same set up (although with 3 new numbers this time), no callerID information comes through to any extension if the call comes in on the main number. I have verified that callerID does work, but only if the phone is connected to the main number line directly and not through the BizFon. I'm not sure what happened and am not sure how to fix it. Any ideas?

My other issue is that sometimes I will hear what sounds like a foam-covered microphone being dragged on a tabletop; very squeaky sounding and completely disruptive to my conversation. I have to hang up and make the call again. I want top say that it occurs more often when I have several lines busy at once, but I have also experienced it on one line also. The call will sound fine at first, and then all of a sudden will start "squeaking" on me.

I'm glad to have found this forum! there doesn't seem to be anything out there for the Bizfon!
