I am new to a Lucent i2022 handset and system and there is no user documentation that was left behind. I Googled the Lucent i2022 and cannot locate good, useful documentation on:

(a) how to forward all incoming calls to an external phone number, and
(b) how to access voice mail and set greetings, password, etc.

Does anyone know how to configure a Lucent i2022?

Thanks.

I Googled Lucent i2022 and found a few listings for the owner's manual. Here is one of them.

I don't think it was a very common telephone as I've never come across one before.

Thanks dexman and Robin Lee. I've been using that documentation over the past 3-4 days and it just does not seem to complete the steps to get the call forwarding activated. It makes reference to a hardkey 57 but I cannot find a way to set the external phone number to key 57. And, it speaks nothing of voice mail.

Since this a no-KSU system I'm moving this topic to Other Systems.

Support for AT&T/Lucent branded consumer & No-KSU telephones was given over to VTech back in 2000. You can find contact information for VTech/Advanced American Telephones at the following website:

https://telephones.att.com/telephones_ui/index.cfm

I'm not sure how much help they will be and I'm certain that Avaya does not support the i2022 or the telephone's analog cousins.

My gut feeling is that that product line became orphaned when Lucent spun off its Consumer Products division to VTech and its Commercial Products division was renamed Avaya and became an independent company.

This might be a good time to re-assess your needs and consider purchasing a true commercial grade telephone system.
