So the Allworx is in LAN host mode? I assume that you could set up the email server on the Allworx to point to the SMTP server on the SBS 2008 box. Then the SBS Exchange service would push emails to users.
Allworx recommends their USB hard drive, but almost any will work. HOWEVER, Allworx does not support other brand hard drives on the system, so it you have an issue with it then they will not support helping. Note: unless something changed you cannot have both the flash and hard drive in the system at the same time.
