I was wondering if you have a online manual for a win 440 system?? I really have messed up my win phone system badly.

I thought I was going to be all fancy and add a caller ID card to my system, however the new card (COTR) did not line up properly. The original card (8COTR) had 3 phone line plugs, and the new card had 2 plugs for the phone lines.

Thus, I removed the new card and returned my original 3 plug 8COTR card and now the system will not come back up. It fires back up, but the phone lines do nnot work. I think it needs to be reprogrammed? However, maybe it did something wrong? I am not sure, all I know is that I'm pretty lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

on a win you need to add a cidu to your trunk card to get caller-id.the original card is a 8 port and the new one is a 4 port.your lines are not working because you need to reassign them in programming.it's busied them out.

There are no manuals that we will send people. My suggestion to both of you is to order one from Win or call your local Win dealer. I work for a company that works on Win systems, if you are in Missouri or Illinois we can sell you one, or come out and take care of the issues for you.

We have a Win phone system and we recently purchased a Plantronics wireless headset. However, it seems I need to reroute the phones lines in order for the wireless set to work when away from the desk. Currently you have to select the incoming line when the phone rings. How can I reprogram the lines to auto ring to the wireless set in order to answer the phone when away from the desk unit? We have 6 incoming lines. Please help. Thank you.

Rich, you have responded to a post that is almost a year old. Also remember that yes this Forum is to assist and/or direct a query, but the people here have alot of $$$ spent in training and would like to recoup some of the time and money spent.

One other option that is not always obvious is that someone may have email the originators of the posts with the information they were looking for. I have helped many users in this forum and some of them email me directly now. Just because it's not obvious, doesn't always mean they are being snubbed.

If someone found this Forum, then the ability to search the internet is not out of their grasp.

Also the topic is under: Other Systems, which by default means that the equipment is either:
  • Not a Name Brand System
  • Obsolete
  • Esoteric
  • any or all of the above

Given the above, then it is safe to assume that not everybody here will have all the answers. Some question get answers immediately and some do not get a reply for obvious reasons.

I hope that we can agree to disagree in your statement: "you people are jerks... "no we wont send you one, go find it yourself" (but don't give a simple link or anything 'hard'
