Working on a DS1000. Does anyone know the feature code for adding a release key to a phone? I looked in the manual and couldn't find anything on it. ------------------ | Telephone Systems | Voice & Data Cabling

I noticed that. But the RLS soft key function is only there while dialing, then goes away when you are connected. Is there a way that I can have that as a permenant soft key? ------------------ | Telephone Systems | Voice & Data Cabling

What sw ver do you have? On 3.21.00 the release soft key shows on every type of call itcm or co. If you have a 2-line display you may have to press the (more) soft key untill it shows up. this is not the case for super displays.

If you absolutely need to release the line you could enable and use "forced trunk disconnect" in class of services.
