I have just inherited responsibility for this mystery system. The chassis is two stacked cabinets with the following info on label: DX2NA-328 SYSTEM CABINET PARTNO 92100 DX2NA-328M
Cabinet has a floppy disk labeled: 384i System Software PN 92230 Ver 3.07.33 Which is unreadable by my system.
I am seeking the software to be able to administrate this box myself. This companies vendor is debating on allowing access saying that it's too difficult. There is no warranty or maintenance contract covering the system now so I don't see the problem. I am well versed in enterprise class Avaya/Definity administration and feel totally comfortable doing this myself, but it's hard to get started without software and manuals. Can anyone prod me in the right direction or offer advice on this system?

Give email address and I will send you pc app to program that system. It is DOS. There also needs to be a device that has RS232 port that you connect to. It is sometimes on back of one of the telephones or there is a small box that has 3 RS232 ports on it

For God's sake do NOT take that disk out of the floppy drive on the main cabinet drive. You corrupt that puppy you lose the system.

The disk is not in a drive, rather a little plastic storage clip inside the case. Regardless, it cannot be read by any PC I try with. It has probably been sitting in this cabinet since initial installation. Thanks for the advice though, If I happen to uncover a disk drive in this cabinet I'll leave it alone.

It looks to me like your first post was in August? Skimore's advice is correct. Did you not take him up on it?

If your vendor changed the system's password - you should really make friend's with them.
