Is there anyway to make name and number display when a call comes in. System is NEC Electra Elite 48 with COIB(8). There isn't a MIFM card installed.

you don't need the mifm card UNLESS you want to use the caller id scrolling feature (you would also need the kmm chip too BTW).
but the answer is yes to your question. hit the search button up to the right. it's been discussed here many times before including the programs that need to be accessed.

I believe that you'll need a COID card instead of COIB.

The COIB works to provide name or number, but not both at the same time. I don't know if changing to a COI(D) will make a difference. I have gone through all the programming listed throughout the multiple posts for Caller Id. I have also added the MIFM card with KMM chip, but still no dice. I also cannot get the system to callout to the numbers viewed in the caller Id scroll list.

2 line caller ID needs R5000 software or higher. It also must be enable in MB1-8-08, page 5, LK 7.
