Is it possible to configure an analog phone on an NEC Aspire to call an extension when the handset is picked up?
If so can you provide some direction

This feature is called hotline. I don't mess with the Aspire but I know it will do this as most modern systems will also.

Yes Dave, and welcome. This feature is called ringdown and MUST be programmed in the system.

Not sure what I was thinking when I referred to ringdown as Hotline! Well at least your heading in the right direction now..
