After a system reset last week, we lost the ability to 3-digit dial betweern two locations. Each location has its own 2000 IPS PBX, one location houses the NEAX system for voicemail. Voicemail is working fine, and IP communications between sites is functioning fine, but if we try to dial an extension from one location to the other the caller gets a busy signal. I've checked and all of the trunk data seems fine (not an NEC expert and I try never to mess with trunk data). I have been able to locate the trunk istelf, but I have not been able to locate where the call is routed over the trunk to see if this is the issue. One location is all 200s and the other is 300s and I've looked for some sort of dial pattern setting with 2XX or 3XX or just a 2 or 3, but I haven't found either. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

If no data had been changed a reset would not remove data. I would check the Pad cards, Do they have the proper lights lit? Can they be pinged? Let me know.

If no one had done a flash rom save a reset could have wiped data. What is set in Cmd 200 for 2xx & 3xx. Is this problem only in one direction? What do you see in the display when you dial from a dterm? You say this is an IP link but say you have located the trunk can you elaborate.

Check CM 8A4007 on each side. One should have
8A4007>2nn>8004 where nn = 00-99 8A4007>3nn>0010 where 0010 is a route and nn=00-99
The other should have
8A4007>2nn>0010 (see notes above) 8A4007>3nn>8004
Are you using IP tie trunks, channelized t-1 (TDM), or E & M trunks?
