Deb, I'm curious here ... Sounds like the vendor was not an NEC dealer?

Authorized dealers are required to have qualified techs for the systems that they sell, that's why I ask. It sounds like they either don't have techs or didn't send their best.

I'd make the installer live up to the terms of the contract, and then request manuals from them if you decide to go that route. Make certain that they give you the Voicemail Admin. Password, also.

I'm fairly certain they're an authorized NEC dealer but at this point...? He said, just yesterday, that the manuals werent available. He's been the most evasive individual! I just don't trust him. He's only got two techs and I'm sure I got the one who knew more. frown
Slowly but surely I'm figuring it out. the routing, the ringing, virt extensions...i'm seeing this stuff in my sleep.
