I have a situation where a mechanic can't get to his phone before it forwards to VM. I put a virtual ext on his phone and cfbna his ext to the virtual then forwarded the virtual to vm. Calls to his ext now forward to the virtual but won't go to vm. He doesn't want calls forwarded to his cell and he doesn't want to turn off his cf

you can't call forward twice on the IPK.
you can go to mb 1-2-22 and change the no answer timer. this changes the timer for the entire system.

What kind of NEC system & software version? On the IPK I CPU ver. 4.6 you can set up to 4 different timer class's.

On the IPKII, it's only one timer for how many rings before vm picks up? no individual settings?

It's an IPK 1. Software version 1.03. I did change the timer to 18 seconds but I don' think everyone else liked that.

Upgrade them to 4.62. That will give the customer 4 timer classes.
