Hi,

Now we are looking at just trouble with this inmail vms.

It seems to be setup correctly, if I dial ext. 125 it shows it is calling inmail yet it never picks up.

Alternativly if I dial 616 it takes me to message control, -> 7 -> message 01 yet it never prompts to record message.

Any ideas,

Aaron Mortensen

Just throwing this out there.... Isn't 616->7-->01 going to VRS message control recording?

I ran through these MB's on fresh database on my demo and dialing 125 voice prompts for a mailbox number. You don't get that?

Did you just program the InMail. If so you need to reset the system for the InMail to work.

well i reset everything back to default, including the entire KSU.

Reset teh VM (inmail) up on a 3xx setup rather than 200 and the system picked up. (Cram)

So all in all, it is working. Why well that I will leave up to another time...

Thanks for all the suggestions...

-Aaron

Why not contact the NEC dealer or reseller who installed this system?
