Can anyone please let me know if NEC has any handsets (with volume control on it) . The customer is hard of hearing and she would like the volume to be amplified. The type of telephone system is Neax 2000 IVS and the type of telephones are Dterm Series E DTP-16D-1. Any suppliers or distributors would be of great help if NEC can not deliver Thanks

Walker makes a universal handset amplifier. Check them out at www.handset.com, or 800-HANDSET. If they can't come up with a solution, then it probably can't be done. Handsets are pretty much all that they do.

You should find that the Dterm handset will inductively couple with the persons hearing aid if the aid is compatible. This would eliminate the need for a special handset.
