Hello,

We just got another IPK II phone system in our remote office which is connected via MPLS.

In our main office if we just press 9 we get a dial tone. In our new office we have to press 9 and then speaker (or pickup the handset) to get a dial tone. How can I change this in our new office so we don't have to hit speaker or pickup the handset to get a dial tone?

The same thing goes for dialing extensions within the office. If I press 1201 i am automatically connected to the person over speaker and we can chat. In the new office they either have to hit the speaker key or pickup the handset.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You have to assign Hot-Key Pad feature in MB 20-08-20 for COS that telephone assign to. Software realize has to be 1500 and higher.

make sure you Enable it in the right COS. If this isn't it wouldn't be working.

No, you have to check first what COS your exts uses. Usually its 00 or 15. Then you have to go to 20-08-20 put COS number and check status.

I've reread your last post. What both locations are you talking about.

Exts COS assign then in 20-08-20 the first digits should represent COS.
