Hello,
Hopeing someone can help me. My business is about always getting to speak with the customer. Our goal is for someone to always pickup the phone before it hits the auto-attendant. We have an IPK2 with the following ring scheme.
Basically it rings our front desk 5 times, if no one picks up on ring 1, 2 or 3, then on rings 4 and 5 it also rings two other extensions in the office before hitting the auto-attendant. When it rings those 2 extensions on of their hotkeys lights up.
I am trying to add another desk extension here to the backup ring scheme so it rings at their desk on rings 4 and 5.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Sounds like a Call Cover Delayed key on the back up phones. If so, you'd just need to make a key change on the extension you want to add to the ring.

What you need done will require system programming. If you are not certified on this system than pay the money for a tech to come out and do what needs to be done. This system is complex, what you need this new extension to do could take multiple program steps.
