1. IN 1-2-04, I have allocated ports 29-32 for Virtual extensions.
2. In 4-10, I have assigned ext's to the virtual mail box. 29=351
3. In 4-12, I have placed virtual extension on all digital phones. SIE 29 on LO5
4. In 4-37 and 4-38, I have set the day and night to ring.
5. In 3-42, I have the DIT D=351 and In 3-43, I have DIT N=351.
6. from Extension 101, i have dialed SPKR 45, 351 to Voice mail 300.
7. There are some messages already on 351.
My problems are as follow:
1. I can not access the virtual voice mail 351.
2. When an outside call comes in, virtuals ring, but the the voice mail 300 (general voice mail) answers instead of 351.
3. When I hit speaker and enter 351 the virtuals ring and after a while it goes to 300 and 300 answers.
I want physical extension 104 to be the owner of virtual box 351, SO all messages from 351 lands in 104
What have I done wrong? Need help. Thanks

Sounds as though your PBX programming is correct, but box 351 does not exist, so it is going to the default main greeting.
Some questions to help us help you:
Did you use co-sessions to build a T-box 351 , owned by box 104? If you log in to box 104 can you do "LVMSG" then select box 351 to record a greeting for 351? What happens if you dial 3512 from the main greeting?

I think I used the main phone and not co-session to create the mail box 351. Originally posted by doghart: If you log in to box 104 can you do "LVMSG" then select box 351 to record a greeting for 351?
I only get access to 104 settings and greetings. it does not say anything about 351 Originally posted by doghart: What happens if you dial 3512 from the main greeting? It goes back to the main greeting. Couple of other things: - When I go through the system manager options to change a mail box (in this case 351). It says that it does not have a mail box (351). would you like to add one? When I say yes to it, it says the mail box can not be added. It Conflicts with a current personal ID.

- Should the ownership of a virtual mailbox be set through the co-session? Or could it be set some other way?

Questions 1) Can an extension own more than one T-box or email boxes? Originally posted by pbxtek: [q] If it isn't working delete the tbox and start again. Also make sure that there is no other subscriber boxes of 351.
first add a new tbox 351 owned by ext.104. Make sure after you create the tbox 351 you VERIFY it is owned by box 104. Set the configuration of the tbox however you want it xfer d-> Y xfer n->y take message d and n. Call 351 and let it forward and leave it a message. Wait a couple of minutes and check the mwi on 104. Retrieve the message by logging into 104 and you will hear "box 351 has a message...." Follow like a regular box from here.
Also, to record a greeting in 351 you do it through ext 104's mailbox.
Log into 104mb and get to "would you like to leave any messages?" press 1 and hear please enter ext. number then enter 351. follow prompts and record day and night greetings or record one and copy with cosessions. If you don't record one it will play the greeting of box 104. If you don't record one it will play the greeting of box 104.
Hope this helps. [/q] Questions 2) How can you delete a message that was recorded for T-Box 351, to have the message from ext. 104 be played instead! Questions 3) How would you change the owner of t-box 300 from ext.100 to ext.104?
