I`ve heard that NEC has a 2000IPS 2ND line manual with commands not incluided in user manual.
This manual really exist? A NEC engineer said about commands to show station facilities and change then by MOC (like do not disturb); when a Dterm\Analog is busy you could see who is the opposite part number (CallerID); disconnect the station if busy using another MOC command, etc.

I beleive you're referencing BAID which I am sure is only accessible by NEC engeneers.

Actually most of these commands are available, they just aren't in the command manual. For example, the call trace is in the old SDS manual but not in the IPS manual ( called manual path connection I think it is CMD E8) but it still works! There is a command which does show station status (DND etc) but I have never had need to use it. I have reference to it on my work PC and I'll post back tuesday when I've had chance to look it up. I'm not sure you can change the status from that command though. There is also a forced release command which is quite useful which is in the maintenance manual but not in the command manual.

The commands are E400 & E401. The information on them is listed in the 8300 manual but is apparently useable in the IPS. I was right about E8 too and forced release is EB0
