Hi All,
Here is the situation, I had installed a new SV8100 five months ago, reserved a PRI line (30ch) from telco for outgoing calls. Everything was OK at the beginning. But recently, there were 4 channels (CH29,30,31,32) working abnormally, the symptom is that user makes outbound call thru these 4 channels would get silent when answered. I called the supporting engineers of telco, but the reply from them is that the PRI line was normal, so anyone could give me some advices to solve this problems because I had replaced a new pri card on the SV8100 but same problems occured.

It's the T1 the PRI is riding on. Something in those channels when they are accessed is causing an issue. I have run into this on other PRI's and it's fun dealing with the telco on.

Check your programming on that card then. Make sure the channels are programmed the same and make sure that if you have added any other cards into the system that there isn't some sort of database corruption with numbers being off. Check your configs carefully.

If you can test after hours:
Backup with PC Pro, then default the CPU, add one station card, add the PRI card, then do your testing... you'll soon find out if it's your database or the hardware.
