We have a client with DS2000 at 3.22.12 who routinely experiences an "all port lockup" on the Intramail, as well as Deleted Messages reappearing as New Messages in subscriber mailboxes upon subsequent logins.
The port lockup can be cleared with a system reset, about every month or every other month.
The deleted messages problem is intermittent and users insist they exit their mailboxes properly. I have not personally witnessed the deleted messages problem, but have seen the port lock up.

The port lockup was supposedly addressed in prior software releases to (3.22.12). I do remember having ports lock up on the earlier versions software, but not since the newer releases. I would try reinitializing the database of the system and voicemail and start fresh. Don't save and reload the database because it may come back. Hopefully this will rectify the situation. Otherwise I would get with the fine folks at NEC tech support and see what they have to say. Thanks Jr

Thanks clgjr. We have gone thru several software upgrades thru the years, and now sit at 3.22.12.
I have a message into NEC also.
Unfortunately the site has 32 stations, several different departments and would be a pain to program manually. I would do it if I had to. Hoping someone else has run into this problem because I haven't seen it elsewhere.

Been awhile since I have touched a DS2000 but isn't there 2 versions of software for intramail? If the phone system has gone thru a couple of upgrades maybe the VM is still on the original version.

NEC wants me to pull the Intramail hot, unprogram and reinsert cold to see if card will be recognized and problem may go away. They also recommended checking the CO lines to see if there are CO lines locked up, maybe a CPC issue?
