I never used the department groups on the nec sv8100 or the ipk2, when i create the group and list the members in it. When i try and dial it internal i get a busy signal. Any suggestions.

Is the dept grp access code a valid number in 11-01?

I made the dept group for the voicemail 3000 and it works fine. Then i made the dept grp for the calls 3500 but is busy

Do the members of the group have any call forwarding set?? If so that's your problem..

I typically don't use dept groups to route calls.

usually I'll build a virtual station and put that station on multiple phones and assign ringing or delayed ringing.

Then you can just DIL your trunks or point your DID to the virtual.

Dept groups have too many limitations.
