I am looking for a call accounting program (free preferably) that I can use with an ESI phone system. Previously I could use Procomm Plus with a Comdial system and sort call records by account codes using the phone system. The ESI just sends the data out on the fly. Unfortunately i need it to be able to sort it by account codes which will be digits dialed by the user to act as an account code.
Thanks for any info.

Don't know of any free ones. Tapit,Trivium, and CallWhere come to mind as programs that we have used but they cost. You might be able to capture the text in Procomm and import to Excel and sort as you need.

smdr is output on the same db9 serial connector as the mainentance port. default is 8 1 n 1200. smdr can also be directed to an nsp card. The output can be tabular or csv, tabular is default. esi recommends TAPIT for call accounting. esi doesn't use account codes.

Hi, Check this link: https://www.simtel.net/product.php[id]74905[SiteID]simtel.net This is free Call Accounting for small user (less than 14 Exts and hotel with less than 6 Rooms). - CDR format can be easily defined by GUI, so that it is compatible with almost PBX. - Support getting CDR via Serial or IP Interface. - Flexible telephone tariff. - The BackEnd database is opened, so that if you have other software that you want to directly retrieve proccessed CDR (with call charge), this software is the best choice.
