I am looking for a new scanner. My old one quit working some time ago, and I find myself needing one more and more. I am looking for an inexpensive one. I would most likely need it less than 4 to 5 sheets a week.

Thanks

Mike

I've got an HP C7280 All-in-one (Color printer, photo printer, fax and scanner). It works great, is USB and Networked, and the scanning software (at least for the Mac) is terrific. It was under $200 last year at Staples. I got it when my HP SCSI Scanjet died.

I have the CanoScan LiDE500F, and I would recommend it. Canon has great software, allowing you to save as pictures, PDFs, or multi-page PDFs. I've had mine for a couple of years now with no problems, no complaints.

I purchased a Canon LiDE25 from a PC recycler for about $25 a year ago.
I've always had good luck with Canon (scanners, printers, cameras) and I like the lack of bloated software that's not needed to run them.

Thanks for the reccomendations. I think I will look at the Canon product line. My last one was an HP fax scan and copy. It was always a problem. I still use the fax however.
