The company that I work for uses a Comdial DX-80 Digital Executive Telephone system and voicemail, and we need to change our auto attendant, becuase it mentions the names of persons who are no longer employeed with us. The problem here is we have NO IDEA how to access and change that message playing on the auto attendant. If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please let me know. I have been researching this issue for weeks now and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

Do you have a DX Corporate Supervisors Manual?
Everyting you need should be in there. The auto attendant greetings will be refered to as routing boxes in the manual.

When does the system play these names? As part of the auto attendant menu or when a directory is selected or when a caller dials an extension to be transfered too? It matters, each is changed differently. If you need a supervisor guide send me an email from my web site listed in my sig line below.

The system plays the names as soon as the call comes in as part of the auto attendant menu. We do not have a supervisor guide, and really need one. So if there is a place to download one or anything let me know, please. Thanks!

Welcome to the board. Chances are this has been resolved since the last post was almost a month ago.
