I have a E80PT hook up to a Verical Debut 2 port analog when I try to log into the supervisor mailbox 70 the system does not respond when I dial 70. I am using a ATI-X as Station 16 for the Voice mail Port. I can call the voice mail port 16 and get a greeeting that says, If you know the party of the ext you can dial it now. When I dial 70 it keeps giving me options. Can I get some help on this problem please.

Are you dialing 70 or #70?

I dial 16 to reach the voice mail port and then when the greeting comes on I dial 70. I use the same procedure and dial #70 and still can not access the mailbox 70. The Voice mail prompt says the operator is not available now. The sticker number is 96-1043-001. I mention the sticker number because the Installation Guide says you can use that number to identify if the unit is analog. However the book say 96-0612 is 2 port analog, 96-0532 is 4 port analog. 96-1043 is not even mention. When I dial 70 or #70 the voice prompt keeps talking as if it does not hear me dialing 70 or #70. Thanks for the help.

I forgot to mention that I only have 1 port hook up from the ATI-X, Common 2 and Line 2 are defective.

"When digit received, wait for more digits" may be set to No, which could explain this. Also, box 70 may not exist.

This is a new system install, the Debut is new out of the box. I am trying to configure the Voice Mail buy using the Teleparameter Feature. Do I have to hook up a laptop to configure the VM?

You always do first time setup by teleparameters. Then you can use the laptop to configure.
