If 1 or both MEM's are at the 8 year mark with the original hard drive, what sort of incantation did the original installer use! That is a good enough reason to get a NEW AA/VM. smile John C. (Not Garand)

I think that Mitel originally designed the EM for small offices and smaller hotels as a lower cost alternative to their other product. Don't think it was ever meant to be a high powered business system. Even at that for smaller applications there were better, less costly alternatives.

It's a government system and I'm sure they upgraded the sw/hw on a regular basis. It was here when I was hired and working great unitl the company (govie contractor) started having a growth spert that doomed the MEM.

I agree and it worked great and long as we met the small office/business model.
